I began building "stick furniture" as an outgrowth of my garden panel work. I use the same three plants - willow, tamarisk and cottonwood and blend them together in a way that compliment the garden panels and create a balanced feeling in a porch or garden space. I believe that comfort and stability are foremost and will not sell a piece of furniture that I am not "comfortable" with.
Each piece of furniture is built using special screws designed for durability and invisibility. I treat the furniture with the same linseed oil mixture that I use on the panels. With care, the furniture will last many years. At present I build chairs, benches and tables and but always open to any type of furniture one may have in mind.
